It is hard to make the summer fun when it is sweltering outside! We tried to make the most of it this weekend while camping. The air conditioner in our camper didn't get much of a break, the kids could only tolerate small snippets of time outside, the pool was PACKED with a lot of people I didn't want to be cozy with and my youngest one had an accident on the cushions that can't be removed....
However; we were packed up and ready to go on Friday with out any delays, the kids had a blast making garden stones and playing in the pool, I had camper coffee which is the most relaxing coffee ever, my husband took us to Pagliai's Pizza during the rainstorm, IT RAINED!!! {this is a plus b/c we need it so badly}, I painted and played with some fun-for-me projects, we ate naughty food and felt no guilt while enjoying movies and snuggling and games and some mostly happy-stress-free family time!!
To top it off, they had BIG 4th of July fireworks out at the campground... we love the sparkly loud ones and the colorful fountain shows!
